essence of The Reserve is the superb Nicklaus Design golf
course, named by Golf Digest as among the 10 Best New Private
Courses in the U.S. for 2003. It’s a beautiful property, lush
with a dozen species of hardwoods and evergreens. The rolling
terrain offers grand vistas of forests, lakes, fairways and
marsh.

Nicklaus Design features – Bear tracks – are all around. You see
them in the dramatically configured bunkers, large rolling
greens and striking elevation changes. The Nicklaus Design
philosophy eases you into a round, where play moves easily with
friendly “members’ bounces.” The golfer is drawn along, skirting
lakes and deep South forests, until the dramatic closing holes
affirm that you are in the hands of a master architect.
There will be only 350 members
of this strictly private course – 300 of them restricted to
property owners at The Reserve. |
